2019 Cadillac XT4 Automatic Braking

Cadillac XT4 Automatic Braking | Mike Raisor Cadillac

The 2019 Cadillac XT4 is one of the safest crossovers on the market, partly thanks to its advanced Automatic Braking technology. Cadillac XT4 Automatic Braking can help you avoid collisions and keep you and your family safer on the road.

The XT4 is available with both Forward and Reverse Automatic Braking, so whether you’re in bumper-to-bumper traffic or you’re backing out of a parking spot, the system is there to help you out.

Forward Automatic Braking uses radar sensors to keep track of the distance between you and the car ahead of you and will engage the brakes for you when you get too close. Reverse Automatic Braking will hit the brakes if you’re backing up and an object or another car is behind you.

Automatic Braking will also warn you in advance that you’re at risk of a collision with red warning lights on the head-up display, giving you plenty of time to avoid the accident yourself before it takes over. If you have Safety Alert Seat, you will also hear warning beeps.

The Automatic Braking system even comes with Intelligent Brake Assist, which when you engage the brakes can boost your braking power and further help avoid an accident, or at least seriously reduce the severity of it.
